The Marshall JVM: The Heavy Metal Beast!
With way more gain than the Kemper could handle, this modded monster was pushing the profiling process to the limit. The Marshall JVM is already a crazy amp, but then this amp was outfitted with voicing switches, a variac, and an upgraded transformer. For an amp that already had a lot of gain and aggression, this one is next level. This is the sound of extreme metal built directly into an amplifier, but the JVM 410H is WAY too versatile to leave it with such brutal settings, so we started by finding the most extreme settings the Kemper would accept, and then we gradually walked it back until we got to some gorgeous clean tones, and we found great stuff on the way!
